How long have you been with Aimco?

I started with Aimco in October, 2015

What do you look for in a candidate?

I look for a candidate who is enthusiastic, responsive, professional and qualified.

What made you choose to join Aimco?

I had an outstanding interview experience. The Recruiter I worked with was knowledgeable and easy to talk to. The managers went above and beyond to meet with me at a time that didn’t interfere with my previous job. Before even joining Aimco, I could tell that it’s a company that deeply cares about its employees. I was also very impressed that Aimco was rated a Top Work Place by the Denver Post.

What is your favorite thing about Aimco?

My team! Everyone is extremely positive, fun to be around, helpful and encouraging.

One fun fact about you/ what are your hobbies:

My hobbies are reading, fitness (especially running) and trying out new recipes and restaurants.

How long have you been with Aimco?

I started with Aimco in September, 2014.

What do you look for in a candidate?

I look for the knowledge, skills, and abilities that will make a candidate successful in a position. But I also look for our core values and soft skills that will help them blend with our culture and team.

What made you choose to join Aimco?

I worked for a staffing company in Denver 12 years ago and we staffed for the SSC for Aimco. This was the job everyone wanted! Fast forward 10 years, when I saw Aimco was hiring, I knew I needed to get into the company.

What is your favorite thing about your job?

I love being able to make a difference in someone’s life (opportunity and financially). Aimco is truly a family!

One fun fact about you/ what are your hobbies:

I love treating my dog like a child…he’s a fur-child! I love having a great time, whether it is rooting for the Broncos, spending time outside, or laughing with friends.

I joined Aimco in April, 2015.

What do you look for in a candidate?

Ways that they’ve demonstrated that they want this specific job. Candidates who have researched not only the company but also understand how this role fits into the bigger picture of the company stand out. I love when the candidate can easily demonstrate how their career has been set in preparation for this specific role, and then transition into how it fits into their entire career progression.

One fun fact about you/ what are your hobbies:

I’m an adrenaline junkie. In my spare time, I jump out of airplanes, drive cars really, really fast (legally), and will someday open dive with sharks.

What do you look for in a candidate?

There are many attributes I look for in candidates. To list a few, I seek candidates who are honest, loyal, motivated, goal orientated and transparent. I want my candidates to have ambition and confidence to execute their goals in all facets.

What do you look for in a candidate?

I look for candidates who are excited and passionate about the specific position they are applying and interviewing for. Enthusiasm and a great attitude go a long way, even if you fall a little bit short on technical qualifications or experience.

What does it take to be successful?

I feel that being passionate about your position and responsibilities will lead to being successful, and additional growth opportunities will present themselves.

What are Aimco team members like?

Aimco team members remind me of a great football team aiming for the championship every single year. Our office staff is a great offense, our service teams are a great defense, and our corporate teams provide support like a full coaching staff to set the team up for success.

What is your favorite thing about Aimco?

My favorite thing about Aimco is that we are constantly striving to improve in all aspects. We are always looking for additional ways to make this a better place for employees and our residents. Aimco is also constantly searching for ways to improve the business. Leadership is genuinely interested in hearing suggestions from employees, and exploring those suggestions to see if they make sense to put into place.
