Job Description
The Assistant Construction Manager, is also known as the Associate Director of Construction Services.  

This role requires candidates to be continuously eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship, either now or in the future.
 
In this entry - level role, the Associate Director provides operational support for construction projects managed by a Director of Construction or Senior Director of Construction.  This individual ensures construction meets standards and time frames within budget, reviews and makes recommendations on planning and construction issues, and has day-to-day on-site responsibility for project progress and activities.
 
In addition, the Associate Director:
  • Gathers information necessary to assist with writing scopes.
  • Acts as the field supervisor for ongoing construction projects.
  • Recruits new vendors; processes contracts; acts as liaison between vendors and site operational personnel; facilitates payment for vendor services.
  • Assists with ensuing project quality by monitoring performance under contract requirements.
  • Collects and organizes all project related documents; updates project progress in our system.
  • May assist with the development of project plansbid vetting and related budget scheduling.
  • Provides operational support for specialized problems and assists in emergency situations.

Undergraduate degree in construction management, engineering, architecture or related field preferred.
