We are offering a $500 sign-on bonus for this position! This is a temporary position that will not extend past 120 days.
Reflections at Virginia Beach offers relaxed apartment home living in Virginia Beach, VA. Our pet-friendly apartment homes feature an energy-saving GE kitchen, breakfast bar, walk-in closets, washer and dryer, and a private patio or balcony. Select apartment homes have a den, bay window, wood-burning fireplace or extra storage. Our smoke-free community offers an outdoor swimming pool, sundeck with free poolside Wi-Fi, 24-hour fitness center, and tennis, volleyball, basketball and racquetball courts. We also have a bark park, carports and one-car garages. We are just off I-264, close to beaches, dining, shopping, and entertainment. We are also near the military bases, and just 20 minutes from Norfolk International Airport.

Aimco is dedicated to serving our residents, and making everyone feel at home. As such, we are is a seven-day a week operation and our Maintenance Technicians must have the flexibility to work a non-traditional schedule (days, weekends, nights) based on the needs of the business. Additionally, our Maintenance Technicians participate in our on-call rotation and need to respond to the property within 30 minutes of an emergency call.
To ensure our properties are maintained at the highest level, you will need to:
Provide exceptional customer maintenance
Follow up on unresolved issues and ensure a quick resolution
Work directly with residents and team members to diagnose, assess and repair issues
Ensure the property’s curb appeal is top notch by maintaining the cleanliness of the grounds
Qualifications to keep our communities running:
2+ years of related experience
Proficient skills in all trades and expert level in a least two trades. electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and/or appliance repair
EPA Universal or additional certification(s) may be required
The ability and desire to be a team-player, under the direction of the Maintenance Manager
The ability to prioritize and manage your daily workload to ensure successful completion in a timely manner
An eye for detail to efficiently turn our apartment homes
The ability to effectively communicate in English
An aptitude for working with your hands
